Christopher J. Bowman
Founding Member
As a founding member, Mr. Bowman is responsible for client affairs at Gentry Wealth Management. In this role, he specializes in building client relations and developing and maintaining their financial plans.
Mr. Bowman affirms that true success in financial consulting comes by completely understanding the client, their goals and their objectives, and applying that knowledge to each and every recommendation.
Prior to joining Gentry Wealth Management, Mr. Bowman was in the investment banking industry for 13 years. He was actively involved in guiding companies through the many phases of their corporate lifecycle that included equity financing, private placements, and bridge loans. Mr. Bowman brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a strong work ethic to the company.
In 1989, he graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Bowman moved to Australia at age four where he spent the next eight years. He has traveled extensively, eventually relocating to Arizona in 2002 with his wife and their two children. He enjoys traveling, snow skiing, and scuba diving.
Aaron P. Brodt, CIMA
Chief Investment Officer
Founding Member
Aaron Brodt is the Chief Investment Officer of Gentry Wealth Management, as well as one of the Founding Members. Mr. Brodt has a passion for designing and implementing creative financial solutions for his clients, including multi-generational estates and asset management. He is committed to achieving unsurpassed client satisfaction through the delivery of the highest quality, value-added investment management and financial planning services for professionals, business owners, corporate executives and other individuals of substantial income and/or assets. His professionalism and analytical skills are ideally matched to helping clients achieve their financial goals through the development of structured, goal driven investment strategies and portfolios.
Prior to starting Gentry Wealth Management, Mr. Brodt was a Financial Analyst at ConocoPhillips, the third-largest integrated energy company in the United States. There he was responsible for analyzing the price of gas and oil on the trading floor of the corporate division.
Mr. Brodt graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and a Minor degree in Management, while playing basketball as a Scholar Athlete. Mr. Brodt has also obtained the prestigious designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), administered by Investment Management Consultants Association SM and taught in conjunction with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Aaron is a member of the Financial planning Association (FPA), and the Investment Management Consultant Association (IMCA).
Born and raised on the family ranch in Bozeman, Montana, Mr. Brodt relocated to Arizona in 1985, where he enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Heidi. They enjoy traveling, skiing and spending time with their families.
Zachary S. Brodt
Relationship Director, Investment Advisor
Mr. Brodt has been a Financial Planning Consultant for Gentry Wealth Management since its inception. He focuses on developing client relationships and their individualized financial plans. In addition to Mr. Brodt’s expertise in the financial field, he is well-versed in estate planning techniques and strategies. As part of his role with the firm, he conducts workshops and seminars to educate retirees on a variety of investment topics. Prior to joining Gentry Wealth Management, Zachary spent two years as a Planning Consultant for a large estate planning firm located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Mr. Brodt holds securities, insurance, and investment advisor licenses. At Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey of School of Business, Mr. Brodt graduated Summa Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting. While a student, he played college basketball and worked for UBS as a brokerage team member, assisting in client relationships and account management. Born and raised in Bozeman, Montana. Zachary relocated to Arizona in 1987 with his family when his father accepted a prestigious position in the banking industry.
He currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, enjoys golfing, and values his time with his young daughter.
Adam Sellens
Wealth Advisor
Adam Sellens brings a level of client service that is nothing less than exceptional to his role as a Wealth Advisor at Gentry. His proactive and hands-on approach to relationship management has given him a sharp focus on his clients¹ goals and vision for financial success through the development of highly-customized and integrated wealth management strategies. He strongly believes in educating a client, not just advising, allowing clients to have a clear expectation of their investment strategy and performance.
Born and raised in Alaska, Mr. Sellens spent his early years as a deck hand of a fishing boat, which has infused a strong work ethic into him. After his studies at Northern Arizona University, he began his career by way of investment banking in New York. Prior to joining the Gentry Companies, Mr.Sellens spent 10 years with Fidelity Investments, most recently in Scottsdale, Arizona as a Financial Planning Consultant, where he managed over $750 million in assets for 1200 clients. While at Fidelity Investments, Mr. Sellens received many awards for his superior management of his clients¹ relationships. He later went on to open Platinum Trusted Advisors, his own wealth management firm as a branch office for Cambridge Investment Research, where he continued to work on the Fidelity platform with a private client group for four years. There he was appointed to be part of the Fidelity 2009 Advisor Council for outstanding service to his clients.
Mr. Sellens and his wife Rachel have 3 children Alexis, Kemper, Pyper, and are expecting their 4th child in 2011. As a family they enjoy spending time outdoors both here in Arizona and on frequent family trips to his native Alaska.
Scott W. Reed
Wealth Advisor
Scott Reed brings over 14 years of industry expertise to Gentry Wealth Management, specializing in retirement income planning, wealth preservation, portfolio management, and estate & legacy planning for his clients.
Prior to joining Gentry Wealth Management, Mr. Reed spent 10 years with Fidelity Investments, most recently as a Vice President and Senior Account Executive in the Private Client Group. He was responsible for managing over 500 high net worth client relationships exceeding $850 million in total assets.
Mr. Reed received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University after returning from a 24-month long volunteer mission in the Dominican Republic, which allowed him to develop a solid fluency in Spanish. Raised in a military family, he has lived in many areas of the country, ultimately calling Washington State home for the better part of 15 years.
Mr. Reed currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife, Sarah, and their seven children. Outside of work, you would likely find him spending time outdoors or vacationing with his family. He has a passion for music and sang in a jazz choir in both high school and college. He enjoys skiing, golf, and basketball, along with many other sporting activities. Scott also serves as a volunteer in several non-profit organizations.
Clark Morzelewski
Wealth Advisor
Clark Morzelewski specializes in retirement planning, income management, philanthropic planning, and estate and legacy planning. Mr. Morzelewski brings more than 16 years of industry experience working with high net worth families to the Gentry Wealth Management team.
Prior to joining Gentry, Clark served as Vice President and Senior Account Executive with Fidelity Investments where he managed more than 350 client relationships with a combined net worth in excess of $1 billion. While at Fidelity he received the President’s Award on multiple occasions, recognizing his outstanding client relationships.
After serving as a missionary for his church in Tempe, Arizona, Mr. Morzelewski received a Business degree from the University of Phoenix. When not in the office, Mr. Morzelewski enjoys playing golf and racquetball. He is also very involved in the community serving on the Alumni Board of the David Eccles School of Business at University of Utah, The Canyons Education Foundation Board, as well as The Planned Giving Community at Intermountain Medical and Research Foundation. He dedicates much of his free time carrying out his family’s own philanthropic endeavors. Clark and his wife Christine have three sons: Alex (8), Braxton (5), and Jameson (3).
Mark Moreno
Marcus Moreno has been handling financial planning and taxation issues for some of Arizona’s high profile athletes and celebrities for over than 20 years. Practicing as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona since 1988, he brings an extensive amount of industry experience to the Gentry Wealth Management team.
Mr. Moreno has developed a unique approach to tackling complex taxation and financial hurdles, and works collaboratively with clients, advisors, and attorneys. As he helps to develop and implement targeted wealth management plans, he prides himself on researching and educating his fellow advisors and clients. Further, Marcus is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has helped streamline communications among some of our foreign clients.
Prior to joining Gentry, Mr. Moreno worked as an executive at AXA Advisors and Ameriprise Financial Services. A graduate of Arizona State University, Marcus is now married, has two wonderful daughters, and lives happily in the Phoenix area.
